SyFy to remake Alien Nation

Another entry in the remake chronicles: It was revealed this week in Variety that Syfy is looking to reboot another classic science fiction franchise, Alien Nation. The franchise started with a 1988 film that starred James Caan, Mandy Patinkin and Terence Stamp. The plot focused on a group of aliens who crash land on earth after being banished from their home planet, and slowly become part of our culture.

Resident Evil: Afterlife: Confirmed!

Shock Till You Drop reports that Sony is going to get Resident Evil: Afterlife written, shot and in the can by September 17, 2010. Paul W.S. Anderson has reportedly been writing the fourth installment for a while now, but astudio insider just confirmed the news.

Bella Joins The Runaways

One of my favourite 70's all-girl punk rock bands The Runaways, is being made into a big screen movie. Kristin Stewart will be putting her 'girl-next-door' character Bella on hold, as she takes on the lead role and lead hard rocker Joan Jett. And I have mixed feelings about this.
