After wrapping LOST, the show that caused POTUS to postpone his State of the Union Address, someone like Damon Lindelof could just rest on his laurels and watch everyone else grapple for the brass ring. But dude’s only 37, and he he’s lept into a plethora of other high-profile projects, most recently rewriting the prequel for Alien.
Deadline.com reports that Lindelof met up with Ridley Scott, and the duo got on like a house afire. “The exchange of ideas between them sparked a take that could well turn out to be a free-standing science fiction film.”
Currently, Lindeloff writing and producing the next Star Trek sequel with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. He also collaborated with the duo to write the Jon Favreau-directed Cowboys and Aliens, which is shooting now with Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford.
