For years, the government has been relocating the world’s geniuses and their families to the picturesque Pacific Northwest town of Eureka , where daily life straddles the line between unprecedented innovation and total chaos. U.S. Marshal Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) finds this out firsthand when he wrecks his car and becomes stranded. After the town’s eccentric inhabitants unleash a scientific creation still unknown to the outside world, Carter steps in to restore order and consequently is let in on one of the country’s best-kept secrets.

From unrequited love to professional jealousy, from addiction to depression, the problems of Eureka ’s townsfolk grow from the myriad of life’s everyday challenges. But with the population’s unique talents, troubled psyches and limitless resources, these small-town concerns have a way of becoming big-time problems. It is at that intersection, where human frailty and super-science collide, that Eureka begins.

But, Sheriff Jack Carter was stripped of his job as punishment for helping the mysterious Eva Thorne escape town. Following his sacking in "From Fear to Eternity", Carter attends a job interview with the Department of Homeland Security and  Deputy Lupo hands in her resignation on learning her new boss is a...robot.

why is the video player not working. i have tried 3 different shows and they all bring on innerspace update about books being given away for free. has space stop the video files?

I am so glad to see Eureka back on the schedule! It is one of the cleverest, most engaging shows on Space. I hope this time we get all the seasons.

I think syfy just needs to air in Canada and get rid of this channel all togeather because they sure arent the leader in bringing up to date programs on their channel so they should just get out of the way and let syfy take over

Space has been dissappointing getting show like Stargate Atlantis season 5 to air out on dvd and Eureka is another great show Space is Lagging. Good to see Defying Graviety is on even though It is a week later than Networks and HD channel. If Space want to be a SiFi channel get with it and make the deals you need to so we Canadians are not left in the Void of SPACE!

For anyone interested, the remainder of Eureka Season 3.5 now airs on Syfy Friday nights at 9pm. It's a real shame that for whatever reasons Space won't get the opportunity to benefit from airing it at the same time. Lastly, is it just me or does Space and forgive for saying this, sir just a bit too much Star Trek. Almost feels like it should be called Space: The Star Trek channel.

Hi all, if you click on contact at the bottom of the screen it will take you to faq. At the bottom of that is a statement telling us that Eureka season 3.5 will return October 1 2009 I for one can't wait, but wish the information was stated in a more straight forward place.
