A young Heath Ledger leads a small band of Celts against the Roman Empire as they attempt to occupy Ireland in this riveting historical drama. This 1997 series, which lasted only one season, had a similar look to the then popular Xena: Warrior Princess, but was smarter, more complex and character driven, and featured some of the biggest battle scenes ever filmed for television.
