A revisionist look at the trevails of a teenage Clark Kent in the days before he was Superman. Smallville is the town where he came from where very strange things start happening after his arrival in a spaceship in the midst of a meteor storm of green rocks. Clark must deal with a variety of individuals given powers by the green rocks, keep his powers a secret, cope with his friendship with a young Lex Luthor, and balance the two girls in his life - Chloe and Lana. The show also shows us how Lex becomes the villian who will plague Superman later in life. 

Years ago, a meteor shower burst from the heavens, raining destruction on the unsuspecting citizens of Smallville, Kansas. From the ashes of tragedy grew Clark Kent, whose transition from boyhood to manhood was particularly difficult as he came to grips with his emerging superpowers.

Lex is More on 'Smallville'

An interesting scoop from TV Guide this AM: They report that  Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Lex Luthor, could return to the Smallville, but their sources were a bit cagey about revealing *when* (CW President Dawn Ostroff said he probably wouldn't this season).

Brian Austin Green Joins 'Smallville' Cast

TV Guide reports that Brian Austin Green will be in the next season of Smallville as the Kryptonite-powered super-villain Metallo!! The reports states that Metallo and his alter ego, John Corben, will appear in at least the first two episodes of Season 9. No word yet on who will play Zod.

I am 56 years old, superman was my favorite superhero and will be for ever, keep up the good work... each episode that i am watching , i am hoping that clark... will become superman and fly... up up and away... thanks...

Ok wow the last episode of Smalliville was AWESOME! I can't beleive how strong the show is going now. They are putting out some really good stuff right now!

I love whats going on in Smallville... I just hope the Oliver will get it together and be back in his "hero" role before the end of the season. I am intrigued with the Zod line, not really history more artistic liberty so I am curious to see how it pans out. Chloe tracking the Heroes is cool! I am strongly hoping that they will all start to merge together before the end of the series. And maybe show us the beginnings of the JLA. Only problem is there is one hero missing still that is the backbone of JLA I wont mention his name but wouldnt it be cool if there was some kind of Dark Knight reference? As well I am still waiting to see what happens with Jimmy Olsen? There has to be more there! Looking good so far!

Im so excited for the new season, i love Smallville but i hope this is the last season. I don't want it to get dull and boring.

They should put this show in the featured shows section, not in the shows a-z, but it is space were talkin here... (hey space guys/gals, THERE IS MORE TO THE SCI-FI UNIVERSE THAN STAR TREK, and STAR TREK CLONES!!!)..... Also this shows season 9 premier is supposed to be aired on the 25th of September 2009, NOT THE 27th !!!.... but i can probably download it on the night of the 25th.. and not bother to tune in on the 27th.......
