 I’m pretty sure that most LOST fans have already seen the series finale. But just in case you were holding out until tonight (and bless you if you were) SPOILERS AHEAD!!! The 2.5-hour finale airs tonight (Thursday) at 8:30et/5:30pt, followed by a 1-hour InnerSPACE special.

LOST Spinoffs Unlikely To Happen, Hard Not to Imagine

 Sci Fi Wire has posted a list of pretty hilarious LOST spinoff series ideas. And while we can be pretty certain that Damon and Carlton won’t be harvesting this series for any direct spin-offs, per se, it’s still fun to imagine (SPOILERS if you have not seen the finale).

LOST: "Why They Died" - Will They Ever Explain Walt?

 As every fan site seems to have their ongoing list of questions LOST MUST answer before the series comes to an end (or we will all spiral into an existential vortex more annihilating than the smoke monster), we have come to “Why They Died”, the last episode before the 2.5 hour finale. And it will answer some of your burning questions, leaving only, say, around 815 questions to go. Damn. That finale had better satisfy.

 This week’s episode of LOST, “Dr. Linus” is all about Benjamin Linus. On the Island he is without a friend or ally, facing his imminent death, forced to choose sides. In the flash-sideways, he lives a sad-sack life as perennially underappreciated high school teacher.

 As part of their ongoing, kooky method of playing with structure, the Lost writers have adopted the flash sideways for the final season. In lieu of travelling forward or backward through time, in each episode we visit some of the veteran characters back on the mainland in their lives that could’ve been had their Oceanic flight not crashed. Or maybe these alterna off island peeps are the same cats that are on the island? I don’t know. Lost hurts my brain.
