It's finally arrived! Whovians know they have a long wait ahead until the next season of new episodes arrives on television screens, but the promise of the annual Christmas special helps us to forget with the promise of another holiday themed romp with our favourite time lord. The episode appears to be drawing inspiration from C.S. Lewis' fantasy tales set in Narnia, with the Doctor even making a specific mention of a wardrobe. The comparisons end quickly though, as people in very strange suits show up. Bill Bailey recently tweeted this about his guest role: "yes, I can confirm I am a Woodland Space Marine From the Future in Doctor Who Christmas Special ..." mysterious! I for one can't wait to see the episode.
The official synopsis is as follows:
Evacuated to a house in Dorset from war-torn London, Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, are greeted by a madcap caretaker whose mysterious Christmas gift leads them into a magical wintry world.
I'm excited too, but i hope its not on christmas, cuz im goin away to Mexico. Or.. I can try to catch it in Mexico. and why isnt Matt Smith wearing a leather jacket??? :)
Well I must say I am excited for this newest special..... but if they somehow ruin CS Lewis for me I will not be happy lol! can't wait!
I hope it wont air on x mas day, i'll be away. It should be before christmas so.. the fans wont have to wait long and i can watch it. also when is the Doctor changing his wardrobe into a leather jacket?? :)
