Happy New Year SPACE fans! If you’re into all that Mayan apocalypse stuff, happy less than a year to society’s total destruction!  I, for one, hope that they’re wrong – I want to see the second Hobbit film (among other things).

While we’re dwelling on potentially world ending events, why not live vicariously through a team who has experienced quite a few such threats.  Tomorrow is our SPACE-Mas Torchwood marathon!  First off is the amazing Torchwood: Children of Earth, airing from 7am ET to 1, when we switch over to Torchwood: Miracle Day. The adventures of Captain Jack and co. are always a blast, and who doesn’t love Ianto? Fun fact: the lovely Dichen Lachman plays a CIA agent in Miracle Day, and will return to our screens this January with a very important role on Being Human!
