COLONEL TIGH
Executive Officer of Battlestar Galactica. He's among the best to have at your side – even if he's tightly wound, moody and prone to outbursts of temper.
As a cuckolded husband, Tigh's turned to drink, and became a volatile man until the Cylon Attack. Initially unsure of himself, he almost ends up being dismissed by Commander Adama. As the crisis escalates and the Galactica comes under attack, Tigh begins to grow into his role as Adama’s second in command. He made a difficult decision that leads to the death of crew members in order to save the Galactica from destruction.
Tigh continues to battle with alcoholism, but his acceptance of his responsibilities as Executive Officer gives him the strength to resist his vices.
MICHAEL HOGAN
Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Hogan has performed at the Stratford Festival, the Shaw Festival and other major Canadian stages, winning awards for both his stage and film performances. He, his wife Susan Hogan , and his son Gabriel are a fledgling dynasty of actors.
His movies include Road to Saddle River, Clearcut, Stella, Cowboys Don't Cry and The Cutting Edge, and the telefilms Dead Man's Gun, Betrayed, Shadow Lake, Scorn, Shadow Realm, and Nights Below Station, Solitaire andDiplomatic Immunity.
He has guested on such series as The Sopranos, Millennium, Andromeda, The Outer Limits ("Last Supper") and First Wave ("Normal, Illinois"), and in the two-hour premiere of the USA Network series Monk. He starred in the hit Canadian police series Cold Squad.
