PILOT Once an entirely separate being, Pilot now grows out of the floor of the living ship Moya and is tightly bound into her, mentally as well as physically. Because of this symbiotic fusing, Pilot knows when Moya is scared, eager, excited, or sad, and he is able covey these feelings to the rest of the crew. His closeness to Moya makes him feel like more of a host instead of a peer to his shipmates. Pilot is most often polite and respectful to the crew of Moya, but it's clear that his loyalty is to Moya first and the others second. Attained Fugitive Status: Pilot is a part of the ship, Moya, so when she is hijacked, he is hijacked. Originally a prison ship, Moya and Pilot were taken over by a group of inmates intent on fleeing their uncomfortable fates.
