The Devil: The only one of his kind, the Devil, is destined to feed on torment and promote misery. However, in moments of weakness, he has shown disdain for pain he endures. Educated, philosophical, witty and evil, his powers are unlimited; he can appear as anyone, anywhere and anytime and presumably, all at once. He is also omniscient, to Morgan's annoyance, as the Devil taunts him during his mission. He has a Collector in every city, yet enjoys Morgan since Morgan is the only one to ever ask permission to save those he was sent to collect from; thus, making Morgan a wild card in his universe. As Morgan proves to be successful in achieving redemption for his clients, an ongoing rivalry erupts between the two. This also causes Morgan to intervene in the Devil's dealings around town when he stumbles upon the Devil drumming up new business. The Devil takes a different form every week, and Morgan can only recognize him when the Devil allows it. The only person who can recognize the Devil in any form is Gabe.
