Morgan Pym: A rebel and a genius, Morgan Pym is older than he looks. Born in Nuremberg, 1326 AD and raised in a monastery, Morgan Pym studied science and medicine and devoted his life to the service of God until his love for a dying woman prompted him to rage at God and make a deal with the devil: 10 years of bliss with Katrina in exchange for his immortal soul. At the end of a blissful decade of love and good fortune comes the day of reckoning, when Katrina becomes ill again and this time dies of the plague. Morgan, too, becomes infected, but when the Devil comes for his soul, Morgan fights back, impressing the Devil to strike another deal: In lieu or eternal damnation, Morgan will become one of his Collectors. For six centuries Morgan plays the part - finding people and notifying them that they have 48 hours until their deal expires, and their soul is sucked down to Hell. When Morgan meets a young girl named Maya - who reminds him strongly of Katrina - he is inspired to renegotiate his deal. Now he can help his "clients" seek redemption, and hope that one day he, too, will be redeemed. ACTOR BIO: Chris Kramer Chris Kramer was born in Regina, Sask., and lived in several different Canadian cities before settling with his family in Calgary. While attending college in Calgary, Chris decided to become an actor. At 21, he left college and enrolled in The Company of Rogues Acting Studio in Calgary. Chris worked on various productions that were shot in Calgary and then moved to Vancouver. He has since guest starred on numerous television programs and pilots including The Chris Isaack Show, Just Cause, The Twilight Zone and Seven Days. In addition to playing the lead in The Collector, Chris is starring in a feature film entitled Cable Beach, which is shooting in Victoria.
