Toronto After Dark Film Festival is a new five-night premier showcase of international thrilling cinema. The first annual festival takes place shortly before Halloween, October 20-24, 2006, in Toronto, Canada at the historic Bloor Cinema. The program features a diverse selection of feature-length and short films on the cutting edge, including acclaimed new Sci-fi, Horror, Fantasy and Cult movies from Asia, Europe, and North America.

Toronto After Dark's primary mission is to showcase innovative, independent and international thrilling films, in front of Toronto audiences that would otherwise never get to see these works in a theatrical setting. All of the 13 feature films are guaranteed to be Toronto premieres as a minimum, and in several cases, North American and Canadian premieres. Each year, the festival also supports homegrown thrilling genre filmmakers by showcasing emerging Canadian talent, hosting a filmmaker masterclass, and awarding valuable prizes for the best locally produced films, as voted by a prestigious jury.

WIN one of ten double passes to the opening night gala screening and Canadian Premiere of the darkly comical superhero film and Sundance hit SPECIAL, happening on Friday, October 20, 7pm at the Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor St., West. This gala pass also admits two to the Mod Club opening night party on College Street, that follows the screening, with special musical guests! Contest entrants must be aged 18+ to attend the screening, and aged 19+ to enter the party. Contest is now closed.
