Chibi-Robo is a 4 inch robot purchased by Mr. Sanderson for his daughter on her birthday. Chibi-Robo, with the help of his sidekick 'Tele Vision' are set with the task of making the house happy by accumulating happy-points. Happy-points are distributed by doing little task during day and night time. Tasks can range from picking up garbage on the floor to preparing a snack for one of the 3 family members. Chibi-Robo can gain happy points all throughout the house whether it be in the kitchen, the living room, or basement. The game is more light hearted than most 3rd person platformers due to not having any boss to defeat or a long story-line to follow. Your main objective is to earn enough happy points so the family remains happy.

Pros
Specific sequences borderline adult humor, It has a style and personality created from scratch and not borrowed, doing household chores in a game is pretty fun, vibrant and colorful graphics.
Cons
The tasks are tedious and menial giving you no sense of accomplishment. The gameplay is broken up constantly when you need to look for an outlet to go charge Chibi-Robo and the day/night time Mechanic only lasts 5 minute intervals at a time in the beginning of the game. Given that this is a platforming game at heart, with the constant battery charging of Chibi-Robo and day / night time ending, the freedom of exploration throughout the levels is dramatically reduced.
