Meet the Robinsons (Wii) is a fun action/adventure title that's based on the Disney movie of the same name.

The movie is a blast for all ages- it's the type of film kids can watch with their parents and get equal enjoyment. But the game focuses more on the younger audience- it's a good game for your little brother.
You don't have to have watched the movie to enjoy the game, but it certainly makes the experience richer. The game deeply immerses you in the environment of the movie- and you get to interact with each of the wildly imaginative characters from the film. However, it's refreshing to play a movie-based game that doesn't simply let you play out the scenes from the film. Instead, this game takes place in between scenes from the movie- you get more of an inside story- in the same way that Enter The Matrix filled in storyline between movies.
Even if you haven't seen the film, you're going to love the graphics in this game. They're not cutting edge, but they're new Disney and feel like a CG animated film.
Graphics not your thing? The non-player characters are humorous, and entertaining to engage with. You'll keep going back to talk to them over & over, not because their instructions are confusing (it's really straightforward) but because they're just so funny and created so well. The voice acting in the game is actually done by the same actors as in the movie! This is an awesome plus. Voice acting in games is often something that seems to be thrown in there as an afterthought- not so in Meet The Robinsons- instead this is one of the highlights of the game.
So the game has many plusses- what are the weaknesses? Well, first off, like I said, the game is not for all ages. It's entertaining for a while, but not for long enough if you're a bit older. Specifically on the Wii, I didn't like that they chose to use the Wiimote to control the camera. Other action/adventure titles for Wii, like Zelda, make far better use of the dual controllers. This poor planning makes some elements of the game- like the Protectosphere mini-game more frustrating than fun. BUT- I bet that part would have kicked-butt on the Xbox 360 version. The controller issue doesn't carry on throughout the game though- the platformer style parts of gameplay don't feel as frustrating.
A younger audience is going to get a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and a whole lot of laughs from Meet The Robinsons. Final verdict: 7/10
