 Mike Celluci, with his rugged good looks, is what they used to call a man’s man. Celluci’s also a cop’s cop. He’s smart, dedicated and relentless when it comes to solving crime. The only one he knows who might have been as good was his ex-partner Vicki.
As a team, both on the job and off, Vicki and Mike were a good fit. Their relationship was not communicated in whispered endearments, but through edgy, wry wit – the style both of them favour. Mike was crushed when Vicki left the force, and even more hurt when she broke off their relationship.
But…after the fateful night when he met up with her at the scene of the first of the Demon killings, they both knew they couldn’t deny the relationship any longer. Unfortunately, Celluci must somehow reconcile himself to the fact that he must share Vicki’s affections with the seductive Henry Fitzroy, a Vampire. He’s trapped in this triangle as firmly as Henry. But he has a few things Henry doesn’t. He has the days uninterrupted. He and Vicki have a history, and, he happens to be alive.
