Kirsten Prout portrays Amanda Bloom, the sweet, innocent girl next door who becomes the girl of Kyle's dreams. Amanda believes there is good in everyone and felt an instant connection when she met Kyle.
If Kyle hadn't left at the end of the first season, Amanda might have found out what fairy-tale love is all about. But the way things are, she'll have to settle for a lesson in reality, courtesy of her boyfriend Charlie.
Kristen made her feature film debut in 2005 as Abby, sidekick to Jennifer Garner's character in the superhero flick Elektra for 20th Century Fox. Her first job was a lead role in a commercial with famed hockey player Wayne Gretzky. She was at ten years old. Since then Prout has appeared in lead, supporting and guest starring roles on television shows like Stargate SG-1, Dead Zone, Beyond Belief, The Wedding Dress, The Linda McCartney Story and Mysterious Way. Her feature film credits include Gillian Guess, Once Upon a Christmas, Twice Upon A Christmas, and Mindstorm. Prout recently starred in the Lifetime original movie Cry Wolf by director Michael Scott, which will premiere in 2007.
