Biography
Kim Poirier is no rookie to the science fiction scene.Kim joined SPACE: The Imagination Station as an on-air personality in March 2005 after starring as a killer alien babe in the sci-fi comedy Decoys and as Monica in the 2004 retelling of the George Romero classic, Dawn of the Dead.Other notable acting credits include American Psycho 2 with William Shatner, and television movies such as Danger Beneath the Sea with Casper Van Dien, While I Was Gone with Kirstie Alley and Mary Higgins Clark's Pretend You Don't See Her.She can be seen in the upcoming Lifetime film Once Upon A Dream, which stars Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff and reprises her role as Constance in Decoys 2.Kim also stars in the Canadian drama Paradise Falls.
In her free time, Kim enjoys doing yoga and meditation, being active outdoors, singing, dancing, reading, writing, and being in the company of friends.She has a passion for new-age learning, cooking, and continues her studies as a yoga teacher and therapist.
Kim was born in Drummondville, Quebec and raised in Toronto, Ontario.
