True Blood Season Finale This Sunday!
Katie Cudmore | 6/4/2010 12:42:40 PM
You know you're licking your lips for the season one finale of True Blood this Sunday at 10ET. It's been a crazy intense season and hold on for a crazy intense ending. I left you folks two episodes ago, with Sam lying naked at the foot of Sookie's bed. After a lot of squealing and running around on Sookie's behalf, Sam finally reveals to her that he's a shape-shifter. No not a werewolf, apparently they're not cool dudes, but Sam can conjure himself into the image of any animal he sees. Dog is easiest. Good dog, Sam!

True Blood Episode Recap: "Plaisir D'Amour"
Katie Cudmore | 5/10/2010 12:26:13 PM
Big episode, Trubies! We are getting close to the end of season one, and the stories are unravelling before our eyes. Episode 9, 'Plasir D'Amour' starts in a characteristically True Blood-style gore fest. Sookie discovers that Longshadow, the vampire bartender, is the one who has been stealing from Fangtasia. In his rage at being caught, he attacks her. Bill instinctively stakes him through the heart in order to save her, but the result is Longshadow's blood and guts being sprayed all over her, head to toe, gruesomely Carrie style. Poor Sookie.

True Blood Recap: "Fourth Man in the Fire"
Katie Cudmore | 5/3/2010 12:30:46 PM
Milton Waddams, Eric in a bath tub, and CRAZY cemetery sex. Let's dissect "The Fourth Man in the Fire" shall we? Sookie arrives at the now burnt to a crisp vampire nest to find four coffins full of goo. There were only three vampires, plus Bill, so she is left to think that Bill is dead, killed by the hillbilly lynch mob. Tara's mom has a new lease on life after her exorcism and disposes of boxes and boxes of half empty booze bottles, effectively freaking Tara right out. When Tara goes to share the news with Sookie, Sookie is having another cleaning fit (cleaning as coping skills), and they have a big blow up yell fest.

True Blood: "Burning House of Love"
Katie Cudmore | 4/26/2010 11:10:37 AM
What a cut-to-the-chase opening! In the latest True Blood episode, 'Burning House of Love, we catch up with Sookie and Bill making the sweet love by the fire. It's a steamy sesh that involves some vampire bites, to boot. The couple take a candlelit bath together, and Sookie tells Bill that creepy uncle Bartlett was actually a super-creepy child molester. Bill comforts her but gets a wonderfully murderous look in his eyes

Katie Cudmore | 4/20/2010 11:40:56 AM
In the sixth episode of True Blood, "Cold Ground", we find Sookie reeling from the discovery of her grandmother's bloody corpse on the kitchen floor. After three murders, it's safe to say that Bon Temps officially has a serial killer. Bill arrives quickly after hearing Sookie's taxi pull up, and Sam arrives shortly after that to apologize to Sookie for his bad behavior on their date.

True Blood: "Sparks Fly Out"
Katie Cudmore | 4/12/2010 2:21:33 PM
In this episode of True Blood, "Sparks Fly Out", Sookie tries to put an end to her rocky courtship with Bill. The episode begins with Sookie lecturing Bill about going scary vampire on that cop from last week, declaring she doesn't want to see him again. Poor Bill Compton.Talk about a bad date. Even as "Team Bill", I had to knock Bill down a few points for making Sookie listen to the awful Tuvan throat singing, as he drove her home.

True Blood: "Escape From the Dragon House"
Katie Cudmore | 4/5/2010 11:52:30 AM
Eric! Eric! Eric! You can't see it, but I was just doing my Eric dance. We are in episode four of our True Blood saga, and 'Escape from Dragon House' gives us our first glimpse of the Viking vampire god, Eric Northman. Don't worry ladies, he cuts his hair eventually. So now for the question you have to ponder for the next season and a half: are you team Eric or team Bill? Yes, Eric's crush on our little Sookie Stackhouse will continue to grow in devilish ways, and I mean, I am team Bill all the way, but Eric is hot and hip and oh-so alpha male. He's sort of irresistible.

True Blood Episode Recap: "Mine"
Katie Cudmore | 3/30/2010 11:56:52 AM
It is episode three in our True Blood saga, and it's time to watch the plot thicken. In the episode aptly named 'Mine', Bill prevents Sookie from being vampire lunch by pronouncing that 'Sookie is mine!' for all the world to know. Apparently, that possessive line is big in the vampire lexicon, and they back off. Bill being all alpha dog, along with his descriptions of his sketchy past with this vampire nest, freaks Sookie out, and she splits.

Katie Cudmore | 3/22/2010 1:02:49 PM
"I can smell the sunlight on your skin." Oh Bill Compton, you make me weak in the knees. In True Blood, season one episode two, 'The First Taste', we catch up with Sookie, who is being attacked by the hillbilly drug dealers, the Rattrays. Bill saves the day, of course, but Sookie is seriously hurt from the beating.
