The Lost Room

He had a regular job, a regular family and a regular life - until he opened the door to "the lost room."  Emmy-nominated actor Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) and Emmy award-winner Julianna Marguiles (ER, The Mists of Avalon) star in the sci-fi thriller miniseries The Lost Room, premiering on SPACE in three parts on December 11, 12 and 13 at 9pm ET / 6pm PT.

Scattered across the globe are approximately 100 everyday objects from Room 10 of the Sunshine Motel.  These objects all possess incredible powers and just holding one makes one a target for murder.  There is a comb that can stop time, a pen that will incinerate anything it touches, and a key - the most powerful of the 100 mysterious objects - that allows any door to access the lost room, the point of origin for all the objects.  The room itself is an unchanging haven and a portal to any destination, but it can also take what one values more than life itself.

When police detective Joe Miller (Krause) becomes the newest owner of the key, he finds himself the prey of others who seek the objects - secret groups with their own hidden agendas.  When his young daughter (Elle Fanning) disappears in the room, he is drawn deeper and deeper into the mystery of the objects and the ultimate secret of the lost room.  Marguiles plays Jennifer, a woman of uncertain motives who encounters detective Miller as he searches for his missing daughter.

Directed by Craig R. Baxley (The Triangle) and produced by the SCI FI Channel, The Lost Room also stars Kevin Pollack (The Usual Suspects), Margaret Cho, Dennis Christopher, Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting), Peter Jacobson and Roger Bart (Desperate Housewives).
