Variety reports that Universal has hired a new director for Wolfman movie, which will begin its London production in March.

Joe Johnston will replace Mark Romanek, who reportedly quit over creative differences.

The Hidalgo director will have the sublime Benicio Toro in the title role and Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt as the father and romantic interest, respectively.
