Helena Bonham Carter will take a villainous role in the next Terminator movie, Terminator: Salvation.

In an interview with Sci-Fi Wire, the Sweeney Todd actress quips: "I kind of play a baddie, definitely a baddie."

She says she could not refuse role of because of her husband's enthusiasm for the project.

"Tim [Burton] would have killed me if I hadn't done it, because he's such a Terminator fan."

Bonham Carter is rumoured to have taken over the "Serena" role from Tilda Swinton, who dropped out of the project. Christian Bale is cast as John Connor.
