Wikipedia has a partial list of artificial objects left on the surface of the Moon, along with their locations. They have been left there after having served their purpose. The list does not include smaller objects such as the retroreflectors and Lunar Surface Experiment Package. It also doesn't include the Fallen Astronaut statuette or Alan Shephard's golf balls.
